In the fall of 2006, I rediscovered my love of sewing. I made a cute little flower costume (sans pattern) for my daughter and we took her to mingle with the elderly at a local nursing home over Halloween. It was all around great! I had a ball making her costume, she didn’t complain wearing or modeling it and she was a huge hit at the nursing home! Here are some pictures of my cute little flower girl.
Now, why was it that I didn’t make myself a pattern? What was that, I thought it’d be quicker NOT to have a pattern?? Jeesh.. I must have been having a crazy moment. Ah well, maybe next time I’ll manage to sketch one out before I start sewing.
